Airolit is an aerospace company developing Swedish manufactured, secure, industrial-grade UAVs.
Airolit was founded in 2014 with the vision of becoming a Swedish alternative to foreign industrial-grade UAV systems, supporting customers demanding reliable solutions for a variety of fields such as defense, security and infrastructure. With a view that all customers are unique and require different solutions, Airolit has developed platforms that can adapt to specific needs. With a Swedish made quality UAV, an easy-to-use interface, state of the art equipment from partners and hence a versatile UAS (Unmanned Aerial System), customers can implement Airolit’s solutions in completely new fields enabling efficiencies from both a cost, operations, and sustainability perspective.

Seven District has been a shareholder in Airolit since 2019 and increased its ownership through several financing rounds and has now become that company’s largest owner. Stefan Svahn holds the chairman role and works closely alongside the company’s CEO and management team, supported by Niklas Ivarsson and Filip Ivarsson on the board of directors.
Intelligent Aerial AB with its subsidiary Airolit AB (collectively “Airolit”), a Mölndal-based company specialized in the development of advanced drones for security, defense, and research purposes, has conducted a rights issue of nine million SEK. Airolit has been supplying drones to defense- and other customers since 2019 and is currently working on the deployment of its second drone platform.
Just before the summer, Airolit announced the closing of a new SEK 13m financing round led by Seven District and Almi Invest. At the same time, Klas Friberg, head of the Swedish Security Service (Sw. Säkerhetspolisen) between 2015 and 2021 has joined the company’s board of directors.
