Ocean Collective aims to build an integrating industrial group of companies accelerating the next generation of sustainable seafood including sustainably fished wild catch, responsibly farmed seafood and plant-based alternatives. Ocean Collective’s first acquisition was made in January 2023 when it acquired 80% of the family owned company Korshags, Sweden’s leading brand for primarily processed (primarily smoked) premium salmon.

Seven District was part of founding the Ocean Collective platform together with Jörgen Bergqvist, and Vilhelm Sundström, a seasoned private investor, and financed its first acquisition, Korshags. Seven District currently owns 48% of Ocean Collective with Anders Jacobson representing Seven District on the board of directors and working closely together with Jörgen and Vilhelm to build out Ocean Collective’s presence and operations.
Seven District has, together with Jörgen Bergqvist and Vilhelm Sundström, launched Ocean Collective AB (“Ocean Collective”), an industrial investment group with the purpose of advancing initiatives that promote the preservation of the world’s oceans.
