Seven District leads SEK 15m round in EVAM
In December 2022, EVAM concluded a SEK 15m investment round led by Seven District. We invested alongside strategic investor Ortivus (SE: ORTI) and other new and existing investors. The funds will be used to accelerate market expansion, in Sweden and abroad as well as expanding the functionality of the software platform.
Evam provides an emergency vehicle operating platform with a collection of apps mainly managing navigation and communication. It is optimized for the needs of first responders but is applicable to other markets as well. EVAM’s target markets are in urgent need of digitalisation and EVAM has developed a touchscreen-based platform for navigation and communication which significantly disrupts existing legacy laptop-based solutions. In a short period of time, EVAM has managed to achieve a strong market position in the Swedish Fire & Rescue market and has recently won its first tenders with the Swedish Ambulance service. The company has already taken steps to expand to other large European markets, including the UK, together with Ortivus.
“By enabling first responders to reach people in need quicker and more safely, the investment EVAM epitomises the Seven District core investment thesis “People – Society – Technology”. We are very impressed with what EVAM has achieved in a short period of time and look forward to supporting them as they expand in Sweden and abroad.” said Per Skoglund, Partner Seven District.
