Rapid Images merges with Machenschaft

Seven District portfolio company Rapid Images has completed a strategic merger with Machenschaft GmbH, a Munich-based high-end CGI and visualization studio. The combined organization strengthens Rapid’s creative, technical, and strategic capabilities — setting a foundation for accelerated innovation across CGI, real-time workflows, and AI-driven content creation.
The merger unites two highly complementary teams with deep expertise spanning CGI, real-time content, data engineering, and emerging AI-enabled production workflows. In addition to expanding Rapid’s international footprint, the integration provides Machenschaft access to Rapid’s OneCX SaaS platform — a powerful engine for delivering immersive digital product experiences for automotive, industrial, and consumer brands.
“For more than a decade, we have built Machenschaft around the idea of combining craft, creativity, and intelligent production workflows,” says Marcel Sittner, CEO and co-founder of Machenschaft. “With Rapid and its OneCX platform, we have found a partner that can take on larger assignments and enable more automated, AI-augmented CGI production.”
Marie Norrbrink, CEO of Rapid Images, comments:
“We are so happy to have Machenschaft join our team. They bring exceptional experience, talent, and deep industry relationships. Together, we are strengthening our position as a product experience company within automotive, product, and industrial brands. Shared vision, culture, and technology make this a natural step forward.”
Anders Jacobson, Founder & CEO at Seven District and board member of Rapid Images, adds:
“This merger reflects the strategic potential we saw in Rapid from the very beginning — both as a strong technology platform and as a growing global player in digital product experiences. By bringing Machenschaft’s world-class creative and technical expertise together with Rapid’s scalable OneCX platform and product vision, we are building a truly differentiated offering in a category where brand experience and operational efficiency matter more than ever.”
The merger marks an important step in accelerating innovation across the industry, enabling brands to produce product experiences faster, smarter, and more efficiently — with consistent quality at scale. The combined teams will also pursue further advancements in real-time visualization, AI-assisted pipelines, and automated production solutions.
