At Kvaser’s Annual General Meeting, Fredrik Hansson was appointed as the new Chairman of the Board. Fredrik brings extensive industrial knowledge and a strong track record, both as an CEO as well as board positions, over the years, at several different companies including Roxtec, HMS Networks, Scanbox, Troax, Nord-Lock and Anocca.
As owners, Seven District strives to build strong governance structures that balance experience, domain expertise, and strategic perspective. Over time, we believe that the right external chairperson can add significant value — both by strengthening governance and by supporting long-term value creation.
Outgoing Chairman Niklas Ivarsson, Partner at Seven District, will remain on the board and continue to be actively engaged in Kvaser’s development.
“I very much look forward to being part of Kvaser’s growth journey. The company has a solid foundation as a leader within CAN technology, a very relevant R&D pipepline combined with a well grounded organization, that all will syncronize and drive Kvaser’s future success,” says Fredrik Hansson, newly appointed Chairman of the Board.
“It is with gret pleasure that I hand over the chairmanship to Fredrik, as his experience and knowledge are an excellent fit for the scale-up phase we see ahead. I also look forward to continuing to contribute as a board member,” adds Niklas Ivarsson, Partner at Seven District.
“Fredrik has already proven to be a great asset to Kvaser, with his ability to understand customers, products, and solutions, as well as the type of organization required to deliver strong growth over time. I look forward to working closely with him in my role as CEO,” says Martin Sventén, CEO of Kvaser.
In connection with this board change, Anders Jacobson, CEO of Seven District, was also elected to Kvaser’s Board of Directors.
