The Swedish UAV company Airolit raises 9 MSEK to accelerate the rollout of new UAV platform

Intelligent Aerial AB with its subsidiary Airolit AB (collectively “Airolit”), a Mölndal-based company specialized in the development of advanced drones for security, defense, and research purposes, has conducted a rights issue of nine million SEK. Airolit has been supplying drones to defense- and other customers since 2019 and is currently working on the deployment of its second drone platform.

Mölndal, 1 November 2023 – Intelligent Aerial AB with its subsidiary Airolit AB (collectively “Airolit”), a Mölndal-based company specialized in the development of advanced drones for security, defense, and research purposes, has conducted a rights issue of nine million SEK. Airolit has been supplying drones to defense- and other customers since 2019 and is currently working on the deployment of its second drone platform.

Airolit continues its expansion, focused on providing comprehensive UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) and UAV systems for advanced users. Airolit will utilize the proceeds from the capital raise to expand its investments in research and development targeted towards defense applications, while also preparing its operations and organization by scaling up production capacity, securing supply chains, acquiring additional competencies, and preparing for relevant certifications in line with market requirements. There will also be a strong emphasis on marketing efforts aimed at establishing strong ties with the defense industry and achieving increased revenue.

The rights issue was led by Seven District together with ALMI Invest and supported by other private investors, including several employees of the company.
